Jackson Garlock is a Meteorologist at WAOW, where tenure began in August 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Detasseling Manager at Stine Seed Inc. from June 2011 to August 2018, overseeing detasselers during summer months. Jackson also completed a job shadowing experience at KCCI News Channel 8 from October 2015 to October 2017, where observation of Meteorologist Frank Scaglione and hands-on experience with news production and graphics were gained. Additionally, a Digital Marketing Intern role at Westown Advertising Media from October 2015 to June 2016 involved managing client needs and updating media content. Jackson Garlock holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Iowa State University, earned between 2016 and 2020, and graduated from Waukee High School in 2016.
