Ken Brand has extensive experience in law enforcement and education, currently working as a Police Recruit Instructor at Blackhawk Technical College since 2019, specializing in General Law Enforcement, Jail Instruction, and Defensive and Arrest Tactics. Brand has been with the Walworth County Sheriff's Office since 1997, serving in various roles including K-9 Unit Program Coordinator, Patrol Sergeant, and Patrolman/Deputy Sheriff. In addition to operational duties, Brand has commanded the Honor Guard and served as a Use of Force Instructor since 2004. Prior experience includes being a SWAT member and Corrections Officer. Brand holds an Associate of Arts degree in Management Criminal Justice Operations from Concordia University-Wisconsin.
