Loria Hartman is an experienced designer and educator with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at Walter E. Smithe Furniture & Design since August 2018, Loria also operates Sew Simple Design, a personal business established in March 2006 that specializes in custom sewn fabric furnishings, window treatments, and home decorating consulting services. Loria's educational foundation includes a Master of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University. Prior to focusing on design, Loria gained experience as a third-grade teacher at Madison Elementary School and Central School between 1994 and 2000.
