Vivek Tomar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain strategy and data science. Currently serving as Director of Data Science and Director of Supply Chain Engineering at Walmart, Vivek manages teams focused on developing advanced processes and automation systems that have led to significant annual savings. Prior to Walmart, Vivek held the position of Sr. Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble, where leadership of cross-functional teams resulted in successful laundry product launches and notable sales growth. Earlier career roles included Associate Fellow at GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited and SunEdison, as well as Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Vivek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, an MBA in Strategy and Managerial Economics from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
