Tom Garvey is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in information technology and business development across leading companies. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology Infrastructure at Walmart since October 2021, Tom oversees the Global Technology Platform group responsible for cloud and edge digital systems for global operations. Previously, as the Director of Technology Strategy at T-Mobile, Tom led teams in developing innovative services, including 5G and Private Networks. Tom's career also includes significant roles at Cisco Systems, where contributions to business development established key strategies in mobility and security, and experience as an Independent Consultant specializing in technology companies. Educationally, Tom holds an MBA in International Finance from The Wharton School and a Master's in International/Global Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, complemented by a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
