Dr. Marvin Carr currently serves as the Director of Corporate Giving at Walmart, where responsibilities include leading philanthropic initiatives focused on racial equity and supporting investments in partners dedicated to operationalizing DEI commitments. Previously, Dr. Carr held roles such as Senior Evaluation Officer and Program Officer at the Institute of Museum and Library Services, managing community engagement initiatives and overseeing a significant grant portfolio in STEM and community involvement. Experience also includes advising the Chief Technology Officer of the United States at The White House on STEM education access and promoting STEM outreach programs as Project/Program Manager at Innovative STEM Solutions. Dr. Carr holds a Doctorate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Morgan State University and has an extensive educational background in systems engineering and electrical engineering.
