Dilip Jana, PhD, is an accomplished professional in data science with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Walmart since March 2020, previous positions include Data Science Manager at Neiman Marcus Group and Principal Advanced Analytics Manager at AT&T, where also held the role of Senior Advanced Marketing Analytics Manager. Dilip's career began as a Physicist at CERN, focusing on the search for the Higgs boson and its property measurements from June 2006 to November 2016. Dilip holds a PhD in High Energy Physics and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, both from the University of Oklahoma.
