Alfred Luu, M.Eng, P.Eng, is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the engineering and construction industry. Currently employed at Waldron Engineering & Construction, Inc. since July 2012, Alfred specializes in performing fault studies using ETAP, designing electrical systems for cogeneration plants, and authoring specification documents for medium voltage switchgear. Prior to this role, Alfred worked as a Protection and Control Engineer at Hydro One from January 2008 to July 2012, where responsibilities included commissioning new power system protections and maintaining high voltage equipment. Alfred's career began as an Electrical Engineer Co-op at Shell in 2006, focusing on troubleshooting electrical motor relays and conducting post-motor trip analysis. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Power Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
