John Costello

Senior Research Associate - Biotherapeutics at Walden Biosciences

John Costello has had a varied career in the medical and research fields. John began their career in 2006 as a Health Unit Coordinator at Holy Cross Hospital. In 2010, they moved to The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine as a Laboratory Technician II. In 2016, they were promoted to Research Associate II, where they were responsible for technology and research focused on streamlining and optimizing various laboratory protocols. In 2022, they joined Walden Biosciences as a Senior Research Associate - Protein.

John Costello received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology/English from Tufts University between 2002 and 2006. John then pursued a Master's degree in Physiology at Georgetown University from 2007 to 2008. From 2014 to 2017, they obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology - Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs. Additionally, John Costello earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Interdisciplinary - Drug and Device commercialization and Finance from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School between 2015 and 2017.
