Marinda Badenhorst is a seasoned consulting actuary with extensive experience in the actuarial field, currently employed at Wakely Consulting Group since March 2021. Previous roles include positions as an actuary at Virtual Actuary and various actuarial titles at Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited, where Marinda specialized in analytics, health product development, corporate actuarial tasks, and employee benefits consulting. Earlier career experience includes leadership as Head of Underwriting and Actuarial at Cardif Pinnacle, and a senior actuarial specialist role at Alexander Forbes. Marinda holds a Fellowship from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Actuarial Science from the University of Pretoria.
