Hassan Albalawi, PhD has been working in the technology industry since 2011. Hassan started as a Graduate Assistant at Widener University in 2011 and then moved to Carnegie Mellon University in 2013, where they worked as a Graduate Assistant. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of WakeCap Technologies, a company that develops products that incorporate wearable technology, real-time communication, and artificial intelligence in order to connect and digitize construction worksites.
Hassan Albalawi received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Widener University in 2011. Hassan then went on to pursue their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Widener University in 2013. After completing their Master's degree, Albalawi continued their studies at Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering in 2016. Albalawi then went on to Duke University, where they received their Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2018.
