Simone Parker is an experienced professional in strategic communications and web development, currently serving as the Associate Director of Strategic Communications at Wake Forest University since November 2022. Additionally, Simone is a Co-Founder of Alt Text Magic, a WordPress plugin created to generate unique alternative text suggestions for images during the upload process, active since July 2022. Prior to this, Simone held the position of Lead Web Developer at UNC Greensboro from July 2012 to October 2022, overseeing the development and maintenance of over 50 websites for the College of Arts & Sciences. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Art History from Wake Forest University, along with an Associate's Degree in Web Technologies from Forsyth Technical Community College.
