Mark Hamlett, PE, currently serves as the GSA Deputy Director of Engineering & Maintenance for Wake County since April 2023. Concurrently, Mark has been a Land Broker at National Land Realty's Raleigh Office since May 2020. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Director for South Granville Water & Sewer Authority from August 2020 to April 2023, and as Project Manager at McAdams from May 2018 to August 2020. Mark was a Senior Project Manager at McGill Associates, P.A. from June 2016 to May 2018 and the Engineering Section Chief at the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission from June 2008 to June 2016. Earlier in Mark's career, a role as Project Engineer was held at Coulter Jewell Thames from June 2004 to June 2008. Mark holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, both from North Carolina State University.
