Walter McGuire is an experienced professional currently serving as Chairperson for WAITOC and the Bibbul Ngarma Aboriginal Association Incorporated, with roles dating back to December 2022 and January 2022, respectively. McGuire has held the position of Executive Director at Go Cultural Aboriginal Tours and Experiences since April 2016. Previous experience includes working as a VTEC Recruiter Mentor at the Wirrpanda Foundation from January 2014 to March 2016, and as an Indigenous Employment Consultant at the Australian Medical Association (WA) in 2014. McGuire holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aboriginal Community Management & Development from Curtin University, attended from 1995 to 1997, and completed secondary education at Mount Lawley Senior High School and Kellerberrin District Junior High School.
