Dr. Paula Ray is an English Teacher at Waitākere College since January 2023 and the Founding Editor of Migrant Views NZ, a platform for migrant voices, since May 2017. With extensive freelance journalism experience across notable outlets like BBC and Forbes since June 2014, Dr. Ray has also held various academic and managerial roles, including Programme Manager at ICL Graduate Business School and Research Manager at Aspire2 Group Limited. Notable achievements include developing a NZQA-approved Diploma in Communication and contributing to course offerings at Massey University and The University of Auckland. Dr. Ray earned a PhD in New Media Studies from The University of Auckland and holds multiple advanced degrees in International Communication and Political Science.
