Matt Fulton is an experienced executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the Western Australian Institute of Sport since November 2023, having previously held the position of Acting Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, Matt was the Chief Executive Officer of SportWest from February 2021 to April 2024, focusing on promoting and advocating for the sports community in Western Australia. Matt also served as the Chief Executive Officer of WestCycle from February 2015 to February 2021, representing cycling interests in the state. Earlier career roles included Managing Director at Liquid Marketing, Group Account Director and Account Director at The Zoo Republic, and various positions at Coca-Cola Amatil, where responsibilities encompassed national retail marketing and project management. Matt's educational background includes advanced governance training from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
