Cruz Hogan is a Performance Scientist at the Western Australian Institute of Sport since November 2021, providing scientific support to elite athletes and coaches. Additionally, Cruz serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Western Australia and as an Education Officer for Sport Integrity Australia, delivering educational content on anti-doping and ethics in sport. Previous roles include Participation & Pathways Coordinator at Paralympics Australia and various positions at WAIS, including Industry PhD Candidate, Recovery Physiologist, and Talent Identification Physiologist, where Cruz contributed to athlete selection and recovery programs. Cruz has also coached talent identification squads in athletics and acted as an Athlete Co-Facilitator in a program focused on developing athlete life skills. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Sport Physiology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Science from The University of Western Australia.
