Chris Maltzan has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Chris currently holds the position of Head of Engineering at WAE since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Engineering at WAE from March 2022 to August 2022. Before joining WAE, Chris served as the Chief Software Architect at WAE from November 2021 to March 2022. Chris also worked at L3Harris Technologies as a Software Engineer from April 2018 to November 2021. Chris gained experience at GE Energy Connections, where they held the roles of Senior Software Engineer from July 2017 to April 2018 and Software Engineer from May 2014 to June 2017. Chris worked as a Software Architect at Inventaprint from February 2017 to April 2018. Chris started their career at Adecco in April 2013 as a Software Engineering Contractor at General Electric for a brief period of two months.

Chris Maltzan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University. Chris also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Interdepartmental Computer Science and Psychology from Union College.
