Robert Ross Duncan has over 36 years of professional experience in software development and engineering. Robert Ross began their career in 1984 as an Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineer at IBM, where they designed electrical motor drive circuits and control systems for the IBM Impactwriter printer and mechanical assemblies for the IBM 6262 printer. In 1997, they became a DVD Evangelist for Panasonic Corporation, where they worked with other major corporations to coordinate DVD promotional activity. From 1999 to 2003, they were an Engineering Manager at Compaq Computer Corporation, where they managed and mentored two engineers, a program administrator, and a college co-op. From 2003 to 2015, they were a Technical Project Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they developed and implemented an authentication tool kit in C++ for use on HPE backup appliances and developed a One Time Password authentication feature for use on HPE OneView for VMware Center. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Software Developer at duncanharbor.org, where they designed and developed a USCG Collision Regulations simulator using Java JDK11 and OpenJFX. From 2019 to 2020, they were a student at UNIQUE System Skills LLC, where they studied Data Analytics with Java Development, Azure Development with C#. NET and ASP. NET, Java - JSP, AJAX, and JQuery, Python, Jupyter, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Selenium and Appium Testing, Big Data with Hadoop, and Oracle RDBMS and SQL. Most recently, they have been a Back End Engineer at Wabbi since 2020, where they develop Wabbi services using JavaScript in node. js, express, bookshelf, knex and postgres framework for deployment as an Azure cloud service.

Robert Ross Duncan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University. Robert Ross also holds certifications from Oracle and Scrum.org, including Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I).
