Kwasi Koranteng has extensive work experience in the field of health and safety. Kwasi'smost recent role was as the Director of Health and Safety at W. M. Schlosser Co. Inc. starting from November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Roving Safety Manager at the same company from June 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining W. M. Schlosser Co. Inc., Kwasi was a Safety Manager at CORE Safety Group from October 2016 to May 2020.

Kwasi also worked as a Safety Consultant at Regional Reporting, Inc. from October 2015 to September 2016, where they provided safety management support and conducted site safety audits for various construction clients.

From March 2006 to September 2015, Kwasi served as the Senior Manager Environment Health Safety at James G. Davis Construction (DAVIS). In this role, they worked on significant projects such as the Capital One Mclean project and the U.S. Government Data Center, ensuring compliance with EM-385 standards and evaluating employee and subcontractor performances.

Kwasi began their career in the insurance industry, working as a Senior Loss Control Consultant for CIGNA Insurance, General Accident Insurance, and Chubb Insurance Co. from June 1985 to February 2006. In this role, they conducted and supervised loss control activities, insurance audits, and claims analysis.

Kwasi Koranteng obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation/Management from the State University of New York Maritime College, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. In addition to their formal education, they have also acquired various certifications throughout their career. Notably, in 2007, they obtained the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. More recently, Kwasi has completed several online certifications in areas such as strategic thinking, leadership, emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, and construction management through platforms like LinkedIn.
