Andrew Ellis currently serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Berner Fachhochschule BFH since February 2023. Previously, Andrew worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Bern from November 2016 to September 2023, focusing on models of mental simulation and imagination, as well as teaching statistics and R programming. Andrew's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich and a Scientific Writer for the Rmetrics Association, where contributions included co-authoring publications on R programming for financial applications. Additionally, Andrew performed quality assurance for loss modeling software at Swiss Re from January 2007 to December 2008. Andrew holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Bern and an MSc in Psychology from the University of Zurich.
