Suzana Žbogar has a diverse work experience. Suzana started their career in 2007 as a journalist at Zavod ŠKL Ljubljana and then became a member of the Student Section of the Slovenian Marketing Association from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they worked as a digital PR at Renderspace for a brief period. From 2009 to 2012, Suzana worked as a Public Relations Coordinator at Vzajemna, zdravstvena zavarovalnica. In 2013, they joined Pristop as an account assistant before moving to Vzajemna zdravstvena zavarovalnica, d.v.z. where they worked as a Public Relations Coordinator from 2013 to 2020. Currently, Suzana holds the position of Director of Public Relations at Vzajemna zdravstvena zavarovalnica, d.v.z. Suzana also served as the Head of Media Centre at Vitranc Cup for Alpski smučarski klub Kranjska Gora since 2017.

Suzana Žbogar has a Bachelor's degree in Communication sciences from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences. Suzana also attended Ekonomska gimnazija in srednja šola Radovljica, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this institution. In terms of additional certifications, Suzana obtained a World Class Employer Branding certification from the Employer Branding Academy in June 2020.
