Charlotte Scherphof is an experienced advisor currently working at V&VN as an Adviseur Kwaliteitsregister since March 2022. Previously, Charlotte held positions as Beleidsmedewerker / projectleider at Stichting Amsterdamse Gezondheidscentra from December 2018 to February 2022 and as Projectmedewerker Kwaliteit van Zorg at Spierziekten Nederland from September 2016 to September 2018. Prior to these roles, Charlotte served as a Junior Beleidsmedewerker at Patiëntenfederatie Nederland, focusing on patient participation in research and guideline development. In academia, Charlotte worked as a Docent at Universiteit Utrecht and the University of Amsterdam while also pursuing a PhD, conducting research on the effectiveness of nicotine patches for youth smoking cessation. Additional scholarly experiences include visits to The University of Auckland and The Swiss Institute for the Prevention of Alcohol and Drug Problems. Charlotte holds a Master of Science in Pedagogical Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and another in Health Sciences from Maastricht University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Maastricht University.
