Shane Grivna has worked in the medical sciences field since 2007. Shane began their career as an Analyst at Cato BioVentures, followed by a role as a Clinical Scientist II at Cato Research. In 2011, they became a Medical Science Liaison - Oncology at Bristol-Myers Squibb, and in 2014, they transitioned to a Medical Science Liaison role at Pharmacyclics. In 2016, they joined AbbVie as a Medical Science Liaison - Hematology/Oncology. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Director of Educational Partnerships - Hematology at VuMedi.
Shane Grivna obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota between 1995 and 1999. Shane then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Molecular Cancer Biology from Duke University between 2000 and 2006. Shane also holds a PhD certification from Duke University.
