Richard Ford has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Richard started their career at Symplex Communications Corporation as a Vice President of Operations from 1983 to 1985. Richard then moved on to Merrill Lynch Capital Markets as an Investment Banking Associate from 1987 to 1989, where they gained experience in financial valuations and executing transactions. Ford joined Development Ventures, Inc. as an Investment Manager in 1989, where they focused on Texas-based emerging growth companies and also served on the Board of Directors for Cyclean, Inc. From 1991 to 1995, they worked at Cyclean, Inc. as the CFO & VP of Sales & Marketing. Richard later became the CEO of VTEL Products Corporation in 1995.
Richard Ford attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1976 to 1977, where they studied engineering. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering at the University of Michigan from 1978 to 1980. After completing their undergraduate studies, Richard Ford went on to earn an MBA degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 1985 to 1987.
