Mark Backhaus, CPA, MBA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Corporate Accounting Manager at VT Industries since January 2020, Mark oversees critical functions including Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Costing, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis. Previously, Mark held positions such as Controller for the Eggers Division at VT Industries and Accounting Manager at Eggers Industries, where responsibilities included managing accounting operations and leading teams in multiple facilities. Mark’s early career at Appvion, Inc. encompassed roles ranging from Senior Tax Analyst to General Accounting Manager, where significant contributions were made to financial processes and system upgrades. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a BS in Accounting from Carroll University.
