Poto Leifi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2002, they worked as a Design Director for Direct Sourcing Associates Inc., where they designed shoes and promotional materials for multiple brands. From 2006 to 2011, they served in the U.S. Army Reserve, specializing in geospatial analysis and media illustration for Psychological Operations. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Multi-Media Illustrator in Iraq for the 306th PSYOP CO, implementing a new branding model and developing visual communication campaigns. In 2010, they served as the Media Team Director in Afghanistan for the 344th PSYOP CO, implementing a national branding strategy for government ministries. In 2005, they worked as an artist for Editions Limited, and in 2006, they founded their own art publishing company called Freedom's On Me. Currently, they are employed as an IT Technician at VSolvit, specializing in logistics coordination and inventory control for a U.S. defense contractor.

Poto Leifi has a diverse education history. Currently attending Brandman University, Poto is pursuing a degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management since 2017. Poto has also attended FIDM Los Angeles from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Garment Design and Production. In 2009 to 2010, Poto attended the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in Ft. Belvoir, VA, focusing on Geo Spatial Analyst studies. They also attended the Defense Information School in Ft. Meade, MD in 2007, and obtained a certification in Mulitmedia Illustration and Design. Continuing their education, Poto attended the Cottonwood School of Ministry in Los Alamitos, CA from 2003 to 2006, completing an AA degree in Counseling. In 1984 to 1985, Poto briefly attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, with a focus on Life Drawing. Additionally, Poto has a certification in CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA.
