Patrick Lewald has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Patrick started their career in 1999 as an Airframes Mechanic in the US Navy, where they gained experience in F-18 aircraft and served as Airframes and Line Division Supervisor. After leaving the Navy, they worked as an Aviation Mechanic at URS, where they specialized in F-18 aircraft and served as an Assistant Shift Supervisor.
Lewald then shifted their career to the IT field, starting as an Intern at ECPI, where they designed and developed a Help Desk ticketing system. Patrick also worked as a Database Management Specialist at Synergetic Information Systems, managing and supporting multiple Oracle and Ingres databases.
Moving forward, they worked as a Software Developer at Engility Corporation/L-3 Communications, contributing to the design and development of a web-based inventory management system for the US Government. Patrick then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Production Support Engineer, providing backend data queries and troubleshooting support for a readiness reporting system for the US government.
Lewald later became a Software Developer at Moto Tech Services (ECPI), developing internal applications using VB, C#, and .NET. Patrick then joined CACI International Inc, where they held the position of Programmer Analyst 2. In this role, they led a team in researching, developing, testing, and debugging software for various programs, including the Maintenance Figure Of Merit program and the Automated Work Notification system.
Most recently, Lewald worked as a Software Engineer III at VSolvit, where they continue to contribute their technical expertise. Overall, they have gained extensive experience in software engineering, programming, database management, and aviation mechanics throughout their career.
Patrick Lewald obtained their Bachelor's in Computer Science with a focus on Database Programming and Software Development from ECPI University from 2009 to 2011. In addition, they have earned certifications such as Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in September 2021, and Security+ from CompTIA in October 2012.
