Gavin Brittain has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gavin began their career at Custom Retail Services in 2003, where they served as a Retail Product Manager, managing accounts at Lowe's Home Improvement Stores. Gavin worked as a liaison between manufacturers and Lowe's management to enhance the quality of the customer experience.

In 2004, Gavin joined Express Systems Integration (ESI) as an Account Executive. Gavin directed sales and purchasing activities for a large national account, cultivating relationships and managing inventory turns to ensure profitability.

Gavin then transitioned to CACI International Inc in 2007, where they held various roles over the years. Gavin started as a Test Analyst for the VSB Project, responsible for test plan creation and software testing. Gavin then became a Business System Analyst for the VSB Project, focused on analysis documentation, requirements, and help content. Gavin also served as a Project Quality Assurance Auditor, performing audits to ensure CMMI compliance across projects.

At CACI International Inc, Gavin later took on the role of Test Lead for the AWN project. Gavin was involved in creating structured processes for defect management and maintaining the test methodology. Additionally, Gavin served as a Test Lead, Scrum Master, and Trainer for the VSB project, overseeing test management and playing a key role in developing and maintaining the test methodology.

In 2018, Gavin joined VSolvit as a Business System Analyst. Gavin became the Product Owner and Test Lead of the Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) application, responsible for technical analysis, requirements gathering, and test implementation. Gavin played a pivotal role in ensuring an Agile release schedule for the application.

Throughout their career, Gavin has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as test management, process improvement, documentation, and requirements gathering. Their strong analytical and technical skills have been instrumental in delivering quality software solutions.

Gavin Brittain's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Textual Studies from Syracuse University, which they attended from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended the University of Charleston from 1990 to 1994, where they studied English but did not receive a degree. Their secondary education took place at Liverpool High School from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Regents diploma. In addition to their formal education, Gavin Brittain has also obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in May 2022.
