Peter Hughes is an accomplished civil and structural engineer with extensive experience in leadership roles across various international construction projects. Currently serving as Managing Director of VSL Systems (UK) Ltd at VSL International Ltd. since February 2011, Peter has also held multiple regional director positions in the UK, Canada, and India. Prior to this, Peter was a Regional Manager at Bilfinger Berger and a Project Leader at Laing O'Rourke, overseeing significant infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. Earlier career experiences include project management roles with Ed Zublin AG, directing projects in Malaysia and Thailand, and a range of engineering and management positions with Kier Group. Peter holds a BEng degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Bradford.
