Martha Shaw Levine, PhD, RNC, currently serves as the Director of Nursing Innovation and Curriculum Integration at VRpatients since August 2023. With extensive experience as a Registered Nurse since May 1995, Martha has worked in various capacities, including staff nurse, preceptor, charge nurse, and clinical coordinator in high-risk perinatal care. Previous roles include Nurse Educator and Director of Learning and Content Development at Health Scholars, and Enterprise RN Educator for Perinatal and NICU nurse residency programs at Centura Health. Academic contributions include serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Northern Colorado and Nursing Faculty at Front Range Community College, where Martha developed simulation curricula. Martha holds a PhD in Nursing Science from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and has conducted research on nurse attitudes towards childbirth during their time as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan.
