Steve Bee has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Steve started their career as a R&D Chemist at BNFL in 1987, followed by a role as an R&D Chemist at ICI. In 1989, they joined Sanofi Pharmaceuticals as a Principal Bio-Analyst. Steve then transitioned to Anachem Ltd as the UK Sales Manager in 1997, where they worked until 2004. Steve then took on the role of General Manager at A1-Envirotech from 2004 to 2007. Steve then joined Intertek in 2007 as the Global Business Director for Intertek Shipcare, a position they held until 2016. Currently, they are the Group Commercial Director at Veritas Petroleum Services, where they have been working since 2016.

Steve Bee attended Kenton Comprehensive School from 1975 to 1982. Steve then went on to study Applied Chemistry at Northumbria University from 1982 to 1986, earning a BSc (Hons) degree.
