Kelly King has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kelly started their career in 2001 as an HR Technician II at the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office. Kelly then worked as a Recruiter at ITT Technical Institute before transitioning to the role of Employee and Public Relations Specialist at Swope, Rodante P.A. In 2007, they became an Area Manager at MMMM, and later worked as a Project Manager at PlaneTechs LLC. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Sr. Human Resources Generalist at Pemco World Air Services. Kelly then joined VP Aviation Technical Services as a Compliance Manager, DER from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, they became the Director of Compliance at VP Aviation Technical Services, Inc. Currently, they work as a Human Resources Manager at STS Line Maintenance. In addition to their professional achievements, Kelly also worked as a Caregiver for their mother who had Multiple System Atrophy from 2016 to 2018.

Kelly King is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science and Public Policy at Florida State University since 2021. Prior to this, Kelly obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Sociology from Indian River State College. Additionally, Kelly has acquired several certifications including FEMA IS-1000 and FEMA IS-00403 from FEMA, FAA Designated Employer Representative from Easler Education Inc in 2019, and a Notary Public Commission from Florida Notary Service.
