Ilya Barsov has more than five years of experience as a Data Scientist. Ilya is currently working at Voyantis - Growth Superpowers since August 2021. Prior to that, Ilya held the position of Head of Data Science Team at Israeli Military Intelligence for nearly five years, from October 2016 to August 2021. Before joining Israeli Military Intelligence, they worked as a Math Teacher at The Center for Educational Technology (CET) from October 2014 to August 2016.

Ilya Barsov has a strong educational background in both business administration and mathematics. From 2020 to 2022, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the field of Business Administration and Management, General, from Tel Aviv University. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Haifa.

In addition to their formal education, Ilya has also obtained certifications to enhance their skill set. In April 2021, they completed the "Spark Essentials with Scala" certification course offered by Rock the JVM. Ilya has also earned certifications in "Designing and Implementing Big Data Analytics Solutions" from John Bryce and "Machine Learning A-Z Course" from Udemy, although the specific dates of completion for these certifications are not mentioned.
