Bridget Shaughnessy's work experience begins with their role as a Research Associate II at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc., starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at DynamiCure Biotechnology from August 2022 to May 2023. In 2021, Bridget worked as a Graduate Research Student at Georgetown University, where they were part of the Pharmacology Department's lab under the supervision of Dr. Ken Kellar and Dr. Ghazaul Dezfuli. Before attending Georgetown, they were a Chemistry Lab Prepper at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from August 2019 to May 2021. Additionally, they served as an Undergraduate Research Student in the chemistry department, working on synthesizing and characterizing organic small molecule compounds as potential drugs for individuals with methamphetamine and cocaine dependency.

Bridget Shaughnessy pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, from 2017 to 2021. Following that, they continued their education at Georgetown University, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology between 2021 and 2022.
