Matthew Cross has a long and varied work experience in the technology field. Matthew began their career in 2002 as a Senior Systems Engineer at Majestic Steel USA, where they were responsible for network, server, and telephony installation and upgrades, achieving 98% uptime on all equipment and servers. In 2012, they joined Vox Mobile as Vice President of Technical Services. In this role, they were responsible for providing leadership across several critical functional areas of the organization. Matthew then became Director of Technology Operations, where they oversaw the Vox Admin and Vox Deploy managed and professional services offerings. Matthew also served as Director of Technology & EUC, providing leadership to drive process maturity through technology in IT, R&D, and Vox Admin services, as well as reducing costs through executed transition to remote staffing models. Matthew was also Director of Information Security, and Manager of IT Administration and Operations, where they were responsible for project management, strategic consulting, network and systems architecture, service desk, applications administration, and business intelligence/reporting. Finally, they served as IT Administrator, where they were responsible for network and systems architecture, as well as writing organizational and departmental procedures.

Matthew Cross attended Heidelberg University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In 2011, they began attending Colorado State University, where they pursued a Masters of Business Administration. In 2016, they obtained a CISSP certification from (ISC)².
