Leung joined Vox Media’s legal team in 2014, and most recently served as senior vice president & deputy general counsel, overseeing the legal team’s corporate, compliance and operations functions. He led the company through each of its most transformative M&A and financing efforts, including multiple series financings and the acquisitions of Group Nine Media, New York Magazine, Cafe, Punch, Criminal, and others.
Prior to Vox Media, Leung was an M&A and securities associate at major law firms in both Washington, DC and New York, where he advised public and private companies across many industries, including traditional and digital media. He is the founder of DCGC, a network of senior in-house attorneys in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
