Alex López Teruel has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2011. In that year, they began their career as Mobility Manager for Accenture Technology Solutions. In 2012, they moved to ameu8, where they served as Director, European Business Development, and Mobility Manager. In 2016, they became Co-Founder and CEO of hippo technologies, as well as Co-Founder of What's Next (Sharing). That same year, they also took on the role of Head of Barcelona Mobile Practice at everis. In 2019, they joined Alastria Blockchain Ecosystem as a Miembro del equipo core de Alastria and Development Lead at Inkoova. In 2020, they volunteered as a Java Architect for COVIDWarriors. Currently, they are the CTO of VOTTUN | Blockchain Traceability & Interoperability Platform.

Alex López Teruel's education history includes attending Dauradell from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a BUP-COU degree. Alex then attended Universitat de Barcelona from 1989 to 1992, studying Biology. Following that, they attended EPSS from 1991 to 1993, studying Computer Science. Finally, they attended SpringSource University in 2010, where they obtained a Spring Core 3.0 degree in IT.
