Dr. Philipp Marchand is an accomplished patent attorney and managing director at Vossius & Partner since 2012, contributing expertise in patent prosecution, opposition proceedings, and legal opinions. In addition to this role, Dr. Marchand has served as a European Patent Attorney at VOSSIUS & BRINKHOF UPC LITIGATORS since September 2022 and as a Special Coach for Intellectual Property at Innosuisse since 2018. Prior experience includes research as a PhD student at CNRS from 2009 to 2012, focusing on the structural biochemistry of proteins using NMR. Dr. Marchand's academic background includes degrees in Biochemistry and Law from prestigious universities, culminating in a PhD in Law from the University of Basel.
