Ray Henke has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Ray is currently working at VOSS as a Software Engineer, where they are responsible for creating a new cloud-native version of the Insights product using various Azure technologies. Ray also supports the development of existing products by working with APIs such as Zoom/Webex/Polycom, Kafka flows, SQL queries, test automation, and build management. Prior to VOSS, Ray worked at layerX Technologies as a Software Engineer from 2017 to 2022.

Before that, Ray worked at Nokia from 2011 to 2017 as a Principle Staff Engineer. Ray was involved in the development of software for eNB's radio, including Antenna Line Device support. Ray also worked on LTE/EPC products such as S-GW, P-GW, and SAE-GW, utilizing SCTP, GTPv2 messaging on ATCA hardware. Ray was responsible for setting up a new Clearcase Versioned Object Branch to support hardware deployment and modified Makefiles for the Flexi-platform.

Prior to Nokia, Ray worked at Motorola Solutions from 2008 to 2011, where they optimized Java applications to improve performance and led feature teams in requirements generation, design, testing, and support. Ray also worked at Motorola from 1997 to 2008, starting as a Junior Software Engineer and progressing to Senior Staff Engineer. During this time, they designed and implemented fault management and database services for various devices in the 1X system, collaborated with system architects on event correlation and diagnostics interactions, and provided leadership within one of the subsystems.

Ray Henke earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where they attended from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in "Foundations of Programming: Code Efficiency" and "Foundations of Programming: Refactoring Code" from LinkedIn in October 2016.
