Nyasha C. started their work experience in 2008 as a Software Engineer at Red Five Labs, where they were part of a team developing a runtime environment for the .NET compact framework on the Symbian operating system. They followed a test-driven development approach with continuous integration. In 2008, they also joined Uman Technologies ZA as a Software Developer, where they worked on offshore research and development projects for Universal Media Access Networks (UMAN) GmbH. They served as a lead software developer for rich client applications and mentored part-time software developers. In 2011, Nyasha C. joined VOSS as a Software Developer and later transitioned to roles such as Product Owner, Software Architect, Technical Lead. They are currently employed as a Software Architect.

Nyasha C. has a strong education background in computer science. They obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from Rhodes University from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, Nyasha completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Rhodes University from 2006 to 2007.
