Beatrice Hamza Bassey is a prominent legal and compliance expert with extensive experience in corporate governance and risk management. Currently, Bassey serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Vornado Realty Trust and as an Independent Board Member at IGT since March 2020. Bassey has held various leadership roles, including Chair of the Board of Directors at Union Bank of Nigeria and Chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee at African Banking Corporation of Botswana Limited. Additionally, Bassey has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Banque Populaire Du Rwanda since 2015, with participation in several key committees. Previous positions include Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Atlas Mara Ltd., and Partner at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP.
