Alexia Karamoula started their work experience in 2019 as a Carnegie Vacation Scholarship recipient at the Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland. Alexia then joined ProtoTAU as a Fuel Cell and Safety System Team Leader from September 2019 to May 2020. Alexia also worked as a Teaching and Laboratory Assistant at the University of Aberdeen from September 2019 to December 2020. In 2020, they became a Safety Officer at ProtoTAU from September 2020 to May 2021. Currently, they are working at Vorboss as a Project Engineer starting from November 2021.

Alexia Karamoula attended the University of Aberdeen from 2016 to 2021, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alexia also obtained certifications including the Goethe-Zertifikat B2 from the Goethe-Institut New York in May 2014, and the IELTS certification from the British Council in April 2015.
