Alvaro Torres has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alvaro started their career as an IT Support Analyst at Automercados Plaza's C.A. in 2005. Alvaro then joined Atento Venezuela S.A., where they held various roles including Helpdesk Analyst, Servers Administrator, and Information Security Engineer. In 2012, they worked as a Systems Administrator at Redcom Cibernetico before moving on to Bancaribe as an Information Security Consultant. In 2016, they worked as a Security Compliance Consultant at novanotio and later joined EXCEM Grupo 1971 as a Customer Support Engineer. Alvaro eventually became a Tier 2 Team Lead at EXCEM Grupo 1971 before transitioning to their current role as a Compliance Manager at Voovio in 2022.

Alvaro Torres pursued their education in computer engineering through a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) program at the Universidad Alejandro de Humboldt from 2007 to 2011. Before that, they attended the Colegio Universitario de Caracas from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Técnico Superior Universitario en Informática degree with a focus on technology.
