Cyril Gy has a diverse range of work experience in the tech industry. Cyril started their career in 2005 with a role as a Stage Analyste Développeur Web at Association AVITILA, where they were responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing a job offers website using LAMP architecture.

In 2006, Cyril worked as a Stage Développeur Web at CEnet, contributing to the development and maintenance of the online software CeNET for employee committees. Cyril also developed a dynamic interface modification tool for websites. Cyril worked with a LAMP stack, including PHP, MySQL, CSS, and HTML.

From 2008 to 2009, Cyril worked at Akena Technologies as an Analyste Développeur Web. Cyril analyzed and designed a vacation rental comparison website and performed development and maintenance on the MediaVacances network of websites. Cyril also optimized and revamped the main website.

In 2010, Cyril joined OVH as a Senior iOS & MacOS Developer. Cyril was responsible for conceiving and developing native mobile applications for iOS, including HubiC and MoMi. Cyril also developed the macOS application HubiC and created open-source iOS SDKs using Swift. Their role at OVH lasted until 2018.

In 2020, Cyril started freelance work as a Software Engineer at Cygy Solutions, taking on various software engineering projects.

Later in 2020, Cyril joined Voodoo.io as a Senior Tech Engineer, where they still work.

In addition to their formal roles, Cyril also worked independently on a project called Hanjie Star. Cyril rewrote the Hanjie Star website using Go and MongoDB to improve performance and scalability, replacing the original PHP5, HTML, JQuery, and MySQL5 code.

Cyril Gy obtained a Master 2 Technologies Nouvelles des Systèmes d'Information et Décisionnels in Ingénierie informatique from Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, which they attended from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Licenɔe Informatique option Mathématiques, also at Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, from 2002 to 2005. In 2019, Cyril Gy obtained a Certification in Entrepreneuriat / études entrepreneuriales from BGE Hauts de France.
