Gunther Roland is an experienced intellectual property professional with a diverse background in patent law. Currently serving as a Partner at Von Seidels since January 2012, Gunther specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in South Africa and internationally, as well as assisting clients with technology licensing and IP portfolio management. Additionally, Gunther is the Owner of Roland Intellectual Property Consultants since November 2014, focusing on Namibia and ARIPO intellectual property matters, and previously held the position of Patent Manager at Rouse Africa from October 2015 to December 2017. Gunther holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil from Stellenbosch University.
