Saeil Jeon is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Lead Engineer for Climate HVAC Thermal Systems at Volvo Trucks North America since September 2021, Saeil previously held the position of Lead Engineer in Surface Treatment & Materials at Volvo Group Trucks Technology from August 2011 to September 2021. Early career experience includes working as a Powertrain Base Engine Engineer at Groupe Renault from February 2004 to February 2008, focusing on powertrain component design, lubrication, emissions, and engine performance. Saeil holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Nanotechnology from Texas A&M University, a Master's Degree in Turbomachinery from Seoul National University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Design from Korea Aerospace University.
