Samuel Delefortrie is a Senior Data Architect at Volvo Group since February 2023, bringing extensive experience in data engineering and architecture. Previously, Samuel worked as a Big Data Engineer at Keyrus from January 2022 to March 2023, and held roles as a Data Engineer and Data Scientist at Merkator NV/SA from August 2017 to January 2022. Samuel's career in research began at Ghent University, where a position as a Research Assistant was held from December 2011 to July 2017. Samuel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geological/Geophysical Engineering, obtained from Ghent University between 2012 and 2016, as well as a Master of Science (MS) degree earned at the same institution from 2005 to 2010.
