Amaranda Hernandez has a diverse work experience in graphic design. Amaranda started their career at Command-G: Graphic Design Club in 2014 as a Club Officer and later became the Co-President, where they organized events and facilitated communication within the club. In 2014, they also worked as the Lead Graphic Designer for Arete: Student Academic Journal, where they designed call-to-action posters and collaborated with student editors.
In 2016, Amaranda worked as a Graphic Designer at Sage Environmental Consulting L.P, assisting the Creative Director and producing printed materials for the 4C Conference. Amaranda then joined REVELATOR in 2018 as a Graphic Designer, contributing to design projects until May of the same year.
Amaranda also had a role as a Graphic Designer at Austin Creative Reuse from July 2018 to December 2019. During this time, they worked on various graphic design projects for the organization.
In 2018, Amaranda began working at Volusion as a Visual Designer, and later became an Associate Designer. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Graphic Designer in the marketing team, where they led design updates for the company website and branding, executed marketing initiatives, and designed motion graphic content. Amaranda continues to work at Volusion currently.
Additionally, Amaranda has been self-employed as a Freelance Graphic and Motion Designer since December 2019, taking on various freelance projects.
Amaranda Hernandez attended St. Edward's University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Certificate in Creative Technologies with a specialization in Motion Graphics at Austin Community College. Additionally, in March 2020, Amaranda obtained a certification in "After Effects 2020 New Features" from LinkedIn.
