Jonathan Edwards, CPFO, CIA, currently serves as an Internal Auditor for Volusia County Government, where responsibilities include conducting various audits and preparing annual audit plans. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Deputy Chief Financial Officer for the Town of Mount Pleasant, overseeing budget management and financial health. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Finance Director for the City of Charleston and Audit Manager for La Crosse County, where Jonathan focused on internal controls and process improvements. Other positions include Assistant Store Manager for Halloween Express, Adjunct Faculty at Globe University, Accountant at Trane, and Staff Auditor at the Missouri State Auditors Office. Jonathan received a Master's in Accounting from Missouri State University and holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the same institution, along with an Associates degree in General Studies from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.
